By visiting our website, creating an account, or purchasing products from us, you agree to these Terms of Service and the policies referenced on this website.

Please review these Terms before using merrowen.com or placing an order.

1. Online Store Terms

By using this website, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your state, province, or place of residence.

You may not use our website, services, or products for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose or in violation of applicable laws, including intellectual property laws.

2. General Conditions

We may refuse, limit, suspend, or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including in cases involving:

Payment verification issues

Inventory or availability errors

Pricing or listing errors

Shipping restrictions

Violations of these Terms

If Merrowen cancels an order after payment has been collected, the applicable amount paid will be refunded to the original payment method.

Payment information is processed through secure third-party payment providers.

3. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on our website accurate and current.

However, product descriptions, availability, prices, promotions, dimensions, delivery estimates, and other website content may occasionally contain errors or omissions.

We may correct or update inaccurate information when identified.

4. Prices and Service Changes

Product prices and promotions may change before an order is placed.

Confirmed orders will generally be charged at the price displayed and accepted at checkout.

If an order is affected by a material pricing, inventory, promotion, or listing error, Merrowen may contact the customer to explain the issue and, where necessary, cancel the affected order.

If Merrowen cancels a paid order for one of these reasons, a full refund of the applicable amount paid will be issued to the original payment method.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue website features or services when reasonably necessary.

5. Products and Natural Materials

Certain products may be available exclusively online or in limited quantities.

Returns and exchanges are subject to our Refund Policy.

We make reasonable efforts to display product colors, materials, textures, patterns, and dimensions accurately.

Please note that:

Colors may appear differently depending on the screen, device, lighting, and display settings.

Natural wood, marble, stone, alabaster, leather, and other natural materials may vary in color, grain, veining, texture, and pattern.

Handcrafted products may have minor dimensional variations of approximately 0.5–1 inch.

These natural characteristics and minor handcrafted variations are generally not considered product defects.

If an item differs materially from the specifications shown on the applicable product page or appears to have a manufacturing defect, please contact Merrowen for review under our Refund Policy or applicable Warranty Policy.

Customers are responsible for reviewing listed dimensions and measuring their space, entryways, stairways, elevators, and other access points before ordering.

6. Custom, Made-to-Order, and Special Products

Merrowen offers certain custom, made-to-order, or specially produced products, which may include modifications to size, color, fabric, finish, or material.

Where applicable, the product page or ordering process will identify the product as custom, made-to-order, pre-order, or otherwise subject to an extended lead time.

Custom production generally takes approximately 6–8 weeks, unless a different production estimate is disclosed before purchase.

Production time and delivery transit time are separate estimates.

Customers should review the applicable production or lead-time information before placing an order.

Custom, personalized, or made-to-order products cannot be cancelled once production has begun and are generally not eligible for personal-preference returns.

This restriction does not prevent customers from requesting assistance for confirmed shipping damage, manufacturing defects, missing components, or incorrect products.

7. Billing and Payment

Customers must provide complete and accurate billing, payment, contact, and order information.

Available payment methods may vary at checkout.

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. Merrowen does not directly store complete payment card numbers on its own servers.

Sales tax is calculated at checkout where applicable based on the delivery address.

Applicable import duties and customs clearance fees for eligible U.S. deliveries are paid by Merrowen unless otherwise clearly disclosed before purchase.

8. Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled free of charge within 48 hours of purchase.

After the initial 48-hour period, customers may still contact Merrowen to request cancellation before shipment. Cancellation availability depends on the order's fulfillment status and product type.

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be directly cancelled. After delivery, an eligible return may be requested under our Refund Policy.

Custom, personalized, or made-to-order products cannot be cancelled once production has begun where this restriction has been disclosed as part of the applicable product or ordering terms.

Cancellation requests should be submitted to support@merrowen.com as soon as possible.

9. Shipping and Delivery

Merrowen currently ships eligible orders to the contiguous United States.

Processing times, transit times, estimated delivery periods, delivery methods, service areas, shipping charges, and delivery requirements are described in our Shipping Policy.

Free standard delivery is generally limited to curbside or front-door delivery depending on the product, carrier, property access, and where the delivery vehicle can safely access and stop.

Paid white-glove delivery may be available for certain products and locations.

Delivery estimates are not guarantees, but Merrowen will make reasonable efforts to fulfill orders within the disclosed timeframe.

If a material delay affects an order, Merrowen will communicate available updated delivery information and options in accordance with applicable requirements.

10. Returns and Refunds

Eligible returns, refund processing times, return shipping responsibilities, damaged or defective item claims, non-returnable products, and return procedures are governed by our Refund Policy.

Merrowen does not charge a restocking fee under our current Refund Policy.

For eligible personal-preference returns, customers are responsible for applicable return shipping costs.

For confirmed shipping damage, manufacturing defects, missing items, or fulfillment errors caused by Merrowen or the carrier, applicable return shipping costs are covered by Merrowen.

Customers should contact Merrowen before sending a product back so that we can confirm return eligibility and provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and return instructions.

Eligible authorized returns are processed through our U.S. return warehouse in Jersey City, New Jersey. Customers are not required to return eligible products to our business address in China.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website may integrate with or provide access to third-party payment providers, shipping carriers, analytics platforms, applications, social platforms, or other third-party services.

Third parties operate under their own terms, privacy policies, and service conditions.

Merrowen is not responsible for independently operated third-party websites or services except to the extent responsibility cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Personal Information

Our collection, use, processing, and disclosure of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.

13. Errors and Omissions

We may correct material errors involving product descriptions, prices, promotions, shipping charges, delivery estimates, availability, or other website information.

If an error materially affects an order that has already been placed, Merrowen will contact the customer when reasonably practicable to explain the issue and available resolution.

If Merrowen cancels a paid order because of an error, the applicable amount paid will be refunded to the original payment method.

14. Prohibited Uses

You may not use this website or its content:

For unlawful or fraudulent purposes

To violate applicable laws or regulations

To infringe intellectual property or other legal rights

To submit knowingly false or misleading information

To upload malware, viruses, or harmful code

Nothing in these Terms excludes responsibilities relating to confirmed shipping damage, manufacturing defects, incorrect products, missing items, or remedies expressly available under our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy, Warranty Policy, or applicable consumer law.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Merrowen will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising solely from use of the website.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

17. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify Merrowen and its operating company against claims arising from your unlawful use of the website, material violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

This provision does not limit any non-waivable consumer rights.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law or severed where necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue in effect.

19. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and transactions conducted through Merrowen are subject to applicable laws and regulations.

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights or protections available under applicable law.

If you have a concern or dispute relating to an order, we encourage you to contact Merrowen first at support@merrowen.com so that our customer service team can attempt to resolve the matter in good faith.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be submitted to a court or other competent forum having jurisdiction under applicable law.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from exercising rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business practices, services, policies, technologies, or legal requirements.

The revised version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.

Changes will apply prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise.
